The Asian Zurkhaneh Sports and Koshti Pahlavani Confederation held a meeting in Tehran.

The meeting of the Asian Zurkhaneh Sports and Koshti Pahlavani Confederation was held today with the presence of Secretary General Hong San-pyo, Treasurer Amir Reza Ayrom, and a member of the Board of Directors and executive staff of the World Federation with the aim of organizing the programs of this Confederation.

At the beginning of this meeting, Hong San-pyo presented report on the activities of the Asian Confederation, which included the development of Zurkhaneh sports in schools across Korea, providing ancient sports equipment to athletes, and sending coaches and mentors to train and strengthen national teams.

Continuing, Amir Reza Airom, a member of the Asian Confederation Board of Directors, referred to the need to accept new members in the Asian continent and said: “One of the most important programs facing the Confederation is the development of this sport, which will soon begin a new path by reforming and completing the structure of the Asian Confederation.” He expressed his satisfaction with the election of the new president of the Asian Confederation added: “Fortunately, Dr. Kim is a capable person. In the short time he has been elected as the president of the Confederation, he has been able to establish a good relationship with the member countries. Without a doubt, in the future, the zurkhaneh sport will achieve significant successes with its potential and with the efforts of the officials and executives in the Asian continent.”
