The president of the World Federation of Asian Zurkhaneh Sports and Koshti Pahlavani Confederation advisor to the announced the holding of a peace and friendship tournament in North Khorasan Province.

According to the Asr Tabriz, Amir Reza Airom stated at the press conference of the third round of Asian Zurkhaneh Sports and Koshti Pahlavani Confederation competitions: The North Khorasan Atrak team will represent this province in the Peace and Friendship Cup international tournament to be held in Bojnourd.

Airom expressed his appreciation for the good hosting of North Khorasan and emphasized: From the moment I arrived in the province, planning and order were clearly evident, both in the hall where the competitions were held and in the accommodation.

He stated: The World Federation of Asian Zurkhaneh Sports and Koshti Pahlavani Confederation was established with 86 members in 2005 with the emphasis of the Supreme Leader and is the first world federation headquartered in Iran and has grown well so far.

He said: “Jigsaw and Koshti Pahlavani are not just sports, but also a means of transmitting culture.”

Ayrom said: “The first round of these competitions was held in South Korea with the participation of 11 countries, the second round in Indonesia with the participation of 17 countries, and the third round will be held in Iran with the participation of 20 countries, which indicates the high level of quality of the competitions.”
