At the invitation of the Asian Confederation and hosted by Pahlavan Abdollah Azizi, the Isfahan Zurkhaneh team of children with Down syndrome, led by Pahlavan Hashemi, were special guests at the Sanandaj Summit.

The team’s impressive performance in traditional Zurkhaneh sports as a special segment was met with great enthusiasm from the audience.

During the ceremony, Pahlavan Hashemi, the coach of the Zurkhaneh team for children with Down syndrome, expressed gratitude for the special attention and invitation from the Confederation and the hospitality of the renowned and benevolent Pahlavan Abdollah Azizi. He emphasized the role of Zurkhaneh sports in improving the lives of children with Down syndrome and their social interactions. He added that Zurkhaneh sports, known as the “mother of all sports,” is both a cultural and spiritual practice that enhances both body and soul.
